The
Technology of Management Honey Bee Colonies ''Remember''
The
process of management the bee colonies, really is the decision of a problem of
optimization. Efficiency of the decision of such problem is estimated by the
criterion of efficiency. These criteria are determined by a beekeeper. Most
essential from all criteria are:
- high efficiency of bees at pollination of entomological plants;
- quantity of commodity honey, pollen, royal jelly and other direct products
of beekeeping;
- the viability is very important, especially for those regions, where
duration of winter rest period is more than 150 days.
Any bee-keeper always collects and keeps definite information on management
of colonies. He decides the great number of simple local problems, including the
known very complicated problems of global character. The last tasks are such
complex, that even modern calculable machines can not decide them successfully.
And how does a beekeeper decide these tasks? Actually he decides them
intuitively.
The “Remember” technology enables to the beekeeper to handle the colonies
objectively, in place of intuitional management.
Intuitional management of colonies likes the management by a ship in an ocean
without a compass and in a foggy weather.
To the present tense, all existent technologies of management colonies,
actually, are technologies of intuitional management. A beekeeper not enough
effective uses his knowledge because he has not the instrument of processing the
information.
For a bee-keeper is such instrument, created by me, the mathematical model of
a honey bee colony. One of its basic dignities is that really the model is
presented as a table. Sure, such table can be read by beekeepers only. The
reading of the table is impossible without knowledge of bee biology and
environment of a colony.
Dear colleagues, working with the help of the “Remember” technology you
always know the hive mind (inner state) of each colony. Actually, you will know
their viability, capacity of work and exact date of birth (beginning) of the
swarming state (intersystem discordance), which you will successfully handle.
The
characteristic features of the "Remember” technology
- The technology is elaborated by my math model of honey bee colony. This
model is reliable for all European races of bees, also for others, which have
a similar period of development and lifetime of workers.
- Working with the help of the technology, swarming of colonies is fully
liquidated.
- Its using at the management of the colonies becomes quite visible, like TV
screen.
- Collection and processing of necessary information are enough simple.
- One beekeeper is able to process information for 200 colonies without
special devices. Of cause, the calculating devices make possible to put into
procession more than 1500 colonies.
- Working with the help of the “Remember” technology, a beekeeper needs no
more than 4 hours, to execute all works into a hive with one colony from the
main spring inspection to the period of the preparation to a winter rest.
- At preparation of bees to the wintering, a beekeeper exactly knows
viability of each colony. Such information is essential for those climatic
zones, where the period of winter rest lasts 150 and more days. There the
using of the “Remember” technology has not itself equal. In those climatic
areas, during the wintering, the middle death-rate of 20% colonies is
considered a norm. Using the “Remember” technology, in a theory, the
death-rate of the colonies does not take place. Undoubtedly, the race of bees
must correspond to the given climatic zones and bees must be are healthy. It’s
possible defeat from external mites no more than 0.1% bees, of prepared to
wintering.
- In 75 days, after the spring cleansing flying, the basic part of colonies,
substantially, lowers the flying activity. And using the “Remember” technology
the general activity of apiary increases no less than in 20% and to 100 days
the activity doubles in comparison with technologies of intuitional management
of colonies.
- Productivity of apiary during all season is always substantially higher,
in comparison with technologies of intuitional management. And at the very
difficult terms of environment this advantage can be more than in 2.5 times.
- Using the bees for pollination of entomological plants, the technology,
naturally, has a highly essential superiority on collection of nectar and
pollen. For all season, each colony collects floral pollen no less then in 2
times more in comparison with any other technologies. This information is the
special interest for specialists, who grow the entomological plants. It is
known, that the oppressed plants secrete not enough nectar, but pollen is. The
bees collect pollen, substantially rising the crop capacity of plants in
difficult situations.For example, buckwheat is one of very capricious plants
on the secretion of nectar. Once, 60 hectares of these plants were pollinated
by 140 colonies, which were handled with the help of the “Remember”
technology. Simultaneously, round and round this area under crop, in radius of
30 kilometers were pollinated more than 40 areas under crop of buckwheat and
each square was from 30 to 100 hectares. All these areas were pollinated by
colonies guided on intuitional technologies. (3 colonies on each hectare).
Natural-climatic conditions, for all above enumerated areas, were the same
extremely unfavorable for the secrete of nectar by a buckwheat in that year.
All areas were sown by the identical sort of buckwheat.
Surely, the productivity was very low, in the above mentioned areas under
crop. On each of all 40 areas under crop of buckwheat, where pollination was
produced by the bees guided by intuitional technologies the average yield of
buckwheat was collected from 0.9 to 1.1 tons from a hectare.
At the same time, on the areas in 60 hectares the average yield of buckwheat
was got 2.1 tons from a hectare. Yes, this buckwheat was pollinated by bees
guided the “Remember” technology. The productivity, practically, was got in 2
times anymore. In this case, the intensive pollination is fulfilled due to the
active collection of pollen.
At production of elite seeds of entomological crops, we always shall get the
high quality of ones.
From other side, the given technology attracts the plant growers because they
can see the state of any colony very easy, with the help of accessible
information. Simultaneously, the quantity of colonies, necessary for the
qualitative pollination, diminishes in 25% in comparison with any intuitive
technology.
- Wonder? No, there is the result of the normal use of the beekeeper’s
knowledge and the help to the bees in good time. Really, working with the help
of the “Remember” technology we have decided the problem of optimization,
there is the best variant of management the honey bee colonies from all
possible.
